these work very well for my thick hairI carry this on my wrist when not wearing, but the glue is so hard is leaves marks and scrapes up my wrist. Will not repurchase. These work well and are worth the price. we still have some left after 8 months of getting themMy wife needed some bands so I was glad this popped up. The elasticity on this is pretty good and it holds well once you loop it. We've been using it for quite some time and like most of our bands they will give out over time. Still useable but don't expect this to last a life time. These hair ties are good quality. They are big enough to be used for ponytails on hair that is thick. One of my daughters has thinner, more stringy hair and we can use small rubber bands on her hair, but my other daughter has thick, long hair. It is beautiful but can be a pain to deal with sometimes. One of the issues is that some rubber bands are too small. These hair elastics are stretchy enough to get around her ponytails, but strong enough to provide a lasting hold. They are reusable and are staying in good condition after numerous uses.I have super long, thin, fine, slippery, straight hair, and I need strong hair bands to hold it. These bands are "strong," but I struggled to keep my hair in a messy bun with these. The hair tended to slide out. It will hold for a few minutes, and then the bun just starts to self-destruct. I think this is because the bands are not as "stretchy" as some brands and not very wide. They might work better in textured hair. I think they're fine for ponytails, but not as easy to put in the hair because of less stretchability. These come in 6 hair colors. The darkest color is a dark brown, so no black. For my medium brown hair, three of the shades were good/ideal for me, and the other three were what I'd use when I got desperate. The bands themselves are smooth and neatly covered. The ends are glued together at the seam, and this is the only "slightly not smooth" area. The current price of about 15 cents per band is ok, but not amazing for the quality or usable colors. What I like about this is that it has a good amount because I always lose my hair tie randomly. I also love the colors. What I don't like is that there is a glued part which I really hate because I feel like it damages my hair. But I guess it's good to have extra ties at home.I like the nude shades. I have dark hair but I dont mind this range, I just dont like the bright colored ties. These dont have metal in them and are very comfortable. They stretch well and dont hurt the hair. I have thin straight hair, and dont have issues with tugging or slippingA lot of ties come for less than $7. I find this set very affordable and am happy with the performance.
