I purchased this for help in learning different braids. The ease of securing it to a table is very helpful and the hair is a decent length and thickness.I wish I could post pictures to this review but there is no option for that on this review ??‍♀️This is my first time owning a mannequin head and for $12, I like it! I know how to braid but I need to stop practicing on my own head and give my hair a break lol! This is a great starter one. Full head of hair, great parting and no bald spots.It is synthetic so it does tangle (that’s to be expected with synthetic hair ??‍♀️)and this hair is super silky straight but what I did was braid it up in small to “smedium” individual braids and dipped the braids in boiling hot water and let it dry. After it dried, I took the braids down and brushed it out and it gave me a nice natural hair “blow-out texture” and that makes practicing my braiding easier and the hair is not falling all over the place because it’s too silky straight.Not able to apply heat to product but great for stylingI ordered the blonde 26-28" head. The one I got is a copper color and the hair is not as long as the images shown. I do not even see a copper color in any of the buying options so I'm not sure where this came from. It still serves its purpose, but it isnt what I paid for.When I pulled this doll head out of the box I was INITIALLY very impressed. It’s long thick and shiny. But the only thing you can do with the dollis shampoo & condition, and cut. Don’t even attempt to use heat(blow dryer or curling iron, even on low) because it will melt the hair. I bought to practice updo styles on, but since you can’t curl the hair without it melting, it’s pretty much useless to me unless I want to practice haircuts. I am a licensed hairstylist and find this doll useless now.Very good quality and very affordable. Purchased this for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. She previously used a Barbie styling head but the barbie head has big empty gaps in the back between strands of hair. But this one we just bought doesn't. The whole scalp has hair. And the hair is silky, soft, and medium heavy weight to it! I recommend this as an excellent gift to anyone who wants to practice braiding and combing hair.Worth the money and cost friendlyI practiced hair styles and each time the hair would fall out. Not sure if it was me allergic but I broke out in little blisters on the inside of my fingers.
